Pregnancy & Postpartum Therapy

ONLINE COUNSELLING IN SASKATCHEWAN & ONTARIO

You thought you would feel differently.

Maybe you imagined pregnancy would be exciting, but instead you're constantly worrying about what could go wrong. Or perhaps you've had your baby, and while you love them more than anything, you're struggling with feelings you weren't expecting. You might be anxious, irritable, disconnected, or caught in a cycle of thoughts that you can't seem to turn off.

Sometimes it's the intrusive thoughts that scare you. Sometimes it's the guilt of not enjoying motherhood the way you thought you would. And sometimes you can't quite explain what's wrong, only that you haven't felt like yourself in a long time.

I'm Rhonda Nielsen, MSW, RSW, a Registered Social Worker offering virtual counselling for women experiencing mental health challenges during pregnancy and after childbirth. I've completed specialized perinatal mental health and advanced psychotherapy training through Postpartum Support International, and I work with women across Saskatchewan and Ontario.

Whether you're preparing for your first baby, adjusting to postpartum life, or still struggling years after giving birth, you can seek support for what you're experiencing.
